Complete Boiler Installation in Darlington

The Brief

A family in Darlington had an ageing boiler that was getting noisy and losing pressure between services. They wanted a like for like combi swap done in one day, priced fully up front, with no surprises on the invoice.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Surveyed and quoted in writing: Walked the system, agreed the model, and gave a fully itemised written quote before booking the job.
• Isolated gas and water, drained down: Safely isolated the gas supply and water feeds, then drained the old system ready for removal.
• Removed the old unit and disposed safely: Took out the old boiler, capped what needed capping and sent the unit for licensed recycling.
• Installed the new combi on tidy first-fix pipework: Fitted the new boiler on freshly run pipework, neatly clipped and set out for future access.
• New flue kit and new smart controls: Fitted a new flue kit to manufacturer spec and paired a new smart controller for room by room programming.
• Commissioned, registered warranty, printed Benchmark: Commissioned the boiler, registered the manufacturer warranty in the customer's name and handed over a printed Benchmark Certificate.

The Result

A warm, quieter house, a lower gas bill and a ten-year manufacturer warranty registered on the day. The customer left the visit with all the paperwork in hand and a heating system that runs the way it was designed to.
